The JLDOC is very proud of that historic reputation, but as society changes, we adapt and evolve. We strive to put our venerable values to work in modern ways; demonstrating our pride and perpetuating our legacy by serving as a powerful voice for action, justice and change throughout Durham and Orange counties. Become a Driving Force of Change Within Your Community

We accept new members in the spring and fall. When new members apply, they are invited to join a provisional class that provide them with the tools and information they’ll need to play a crucial role in the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties.

Transfer Members

Moving near us? If you’re already a member of another Junior League chapter, we welcome you to transfer your membership to the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties! Simply notify your current League of your intent to transfer and complete a “Transfer of Membership” form. This ensures a smooth transition for you to continue your League journey with JLDOC.

Upon submission of the transfer form and payment of JLDOC dues, our Membership Leadership and Transfer Liaisons will reach out to complete your transition to our League.

Former Members

We’d love to welcome you back to JLDOC!  If your most recent membership was with JLDOC, simply fill out our Member Reinstatement Form. For those whose prior League affiliation lies elsewhere, please reconnect with your former League for reinstatement. They’ll handle the transfer process to JLDOC if applicable.
